Ontario’s fringe, right-wing political party, the Ontario Party, has brought Trump bootlicker Roger Stone onboard to help them win seats in the legislature.
Just when you thought the state of politics in this country couldn’t resemble that of our American cousins any more, it turns out that you were wrong. The disease has crept north of the border and its spreading faster than one of Chris Sky’s STIs. ALLEGEDLY. Allegedly.
The Ontario Party put out a press release this morning titled: Donald Trump Advisor Roger Stone Joins the Ontario Party Campaign.
Roger Stone, a man synonymous with successful conservative political campaigns in the United States, most famously Donald Trump’s 2016 upset victory, has signed on to work for the Ontario Party as their Senior Strategic Advisor.
Roger Stone has worked for three American Presidents including Richard Nixon, RonaldReagan, and Donald Trump, as well as electing dozens of governors, US senators, and congressmen in the United States. As a seasoned veteran of hard-nosed politics, Roger’s insights into campaign strategies designed to take back Ontario will be invaluable to our grassroots campaign going forward.
In a recent interview Roger Stone said he was “inspired by the Canadian Truckers Convoy and shocked by the brutal authoritarianism of the Trudeau government to help the people of Ontario throw off the yoke of the Trudeau-Ford regimes.”
“I’m absolutely thrilled that Roger is joining the campaign,” Ontario Party Leader Derek Sloan commented. “We were fortunate enough to have him deliver the keynote address at our Candidate Convention a few weeks ago, and it really fired everybody up. I can’t wait to see the amazing effect that Roger’s genius will have on our campaign to take back Ontario.”
Led by former MP Sloan, the Ontario Party presents itself as a genuinely conservative party defending “Freedom, Family, and Faith” against the policies of the Progressive Conservative government of “counterfeit conservatives”. Doug Ford has moved the party so far to the left that it is unrecognizable to any real conservative.
Stone’s speech at the Ontario Party’s candidate convention addressed Doug Ford’s duplicity in misrepresenting himself as a conservative. He spoke to the fact that the PC Party “has our label, but does not have our principles and there is nothing conservative about them.”
The Ontario Party is focused on accountability for the authoritarian, unconstitutional lockdowns and mandates imposed by the Ford government, a parents first approach to education, and the protection of inalienable civil liberties for every citizen.Ontario Party Press Release April 25, 2022 titled Donald Trump Advisor Roger Stone Joins the Ontario Party Campaign.
A move like this reinforces the idea that the party is merely trying to make Ontario the United States’ 51st state (the northernmost “Southern state”).
